The fully programmable Model 1740 facilitates high speed, production line testing in both automated and manual applications. Standard tests include AC Hipot, DC Hipot, Resistance, patented Tang-Weld Resistance and Surge. Robust software offers automatic setup of all test parameters, complete result storage, Go/No-Go testing requiring no operator judgment, and online statistics for all tests.
Model : Battery Element Testers
All STS Battery Element Testers provide a unique method for the detection of assembly level insulation defects in lead-acid batteries, including missing and damaged separators. Detection of such faults prior to filling and charging the battery minimizes costly reclamation. Traditional AC dielectric tests can detect such faults, but may produce damaging heat in moist cell applications. To overcome this limitation, STS has developed testers that employ a high-voltage, short duration pulse to maximize stress to the dielectric material while minimizing average energy. The goal is to provide sufficient stress to cause current flow in the presence of a failure. This technique allows reliable fault detection while eliminating damage due to overheating that may occur with an AC test.

The APS AC&DC Load GUI provides control of any Adaptive Power Electronic AC load from a Windows PC.
This allows computer control of all load functions and measurements without having to write any code. An interactive comamnd line and command scripting utility screen is included in the Gui to allow easy execution of repetitive tasks with command text files. For modular multi-channel loads, the APS AC Load GUI can support up to four channels.

SINGLE PHASE OUTPUT FREQUENCY CONVERTERS
The APS1000 Series frequency and voltage converters are economically priced and offer top of the line performance.
The series consists of seven single phase output instruments ranging in size from 3kVA to 60kVA. The converters allow the user to duplicate a utility grid of either 50 or 60 hertz for export product testing or operation of imported equipment or 400Hz power for avionics and shipboard applications.

Modules are available for 60Vrms, 150Vrms or 300Vrms. This supports testing of low voltage AC products as well as those intended for use in 120Vac countries like the US or 230Vac geographies like Asia and Europe. All 3A Series modules support 300VA or 300W of dissipation and it is possible to parallel modules for higher load requirements. Mainframes in the 3A Series can accommodate 1 or 4 modules with a maximum 1200VA of AC load capability.

Pacific’s unique master/slave configuration allows up to ten 62.5 kVA mainframes to be paralleled in the field. Any mainframe may be designated as the master. A failed unit is automatically disconnected from the power grid providing unmatched mission reliability.
