The Modular and Flexible High Voltage Tester

The W 454 Cable Tester and Functional Tester offers high voltages up to 2,250 VDC / 1,500 VAC and current levels up to 3 A to test cables, cable harnesses, harnesses and components for example in the aerospace industry, in medical technology industry and in the railway industry.

 

This test system allows for continuity tests in the Milli-Ohm range, insulation measurements in the Giga-Ohm range as well as measurement of components like resistors, capacitors, inductors and relays.


High performance for a broad range of applications

  • Programmable power-/current supplies with up to 3 A and up to 2,250 VDC / 1,500 VAC

  • Various generators for high current applications up to 25 A available

  • External generators for functional tests with up to 125 VDC / 250 VAC capable of being integrated

  • Exact resistance measurement from 3 mOhm

 

Almost unlimited number of test points in a distributed matrix

  • Up to 500,000 test points possible

  • Efficient ETE 454 expansion units with external electricity supply in various sizes and types

  • Compact, weight-optimized matrix cases allow for an operation according to DIN EN 2283 (Testing of aircraft wiring) inside the aircraft

  • Short adapter cables

    • Simplified adaption of the unit under test (UUT)

    • Improved work safety

    • Enhanced measurement precision compared to long adapter cables

 

Modular system architecture for an optimized adaptation to the test requirements

  • Flexible equipment with test point modules of different specifications to enable a cost-optimized configuration

  • Hybrid modules where the test points can be used per test step either as test points or as power points to switch external voltages

  • Combi modules where pins can be used as test points and power points at the same time

  • RLC meter to measure any combination of resistance (R), inductance (L) and capacity (C) with programmable frequencies

  • Tailor-made components for special test requirements as well as other special equipment available on request

 

User-friendly operation and programming with the CEETIS Software

  • Automated test program development even for complex functional test requirements by using a component library

  • Graphical display of the net list

  • Innovative ID-chips allow for random connecting of an adapter cable to any output connector

    • No time-consuming assignment of plugs

    • No errors because of false connections
